Building
on the accessibility of remote reference service, the Burlington County and
Gloucester County Libraries are mobilizing their collections.
Beginning as
a pilot project sponsored by the South Jersey Regional Library Cooperative,
these libraries are providing a free mailing option to their customers for
any items in their collection that may be reserved online, in person, or by
phone.
Presenters will
address policy issues, as well as the nuts and bolts information about why
and how to implement such service.
